I am running out of superlatives!
I turned up with no thought of another good day. But I was wrong. I just kept
hitting the ball very well. I had one really bad hole and I only had one birdie.
The rest were pars and bogeys. The card shows the good, the bad and the ugly.
For the second day I shot a 75 off the stick. Monday was a nett 60, 44 points.
Today because my handicap had been cut two shots, it was nett 62, 42 points.
Didn't make any difference I still got first for the day, the $30 voucher for
Oscars Kiwi Cafe. I feel some of their beautiful pies coming home with me.

Tale of the tape had 35 shots for 23 points on the front nine, then 40 shots for
19 points on the back nine.
When you are playing well, good things happen. There are no pictures on the
score card. On the 14th it shows that I got a par for 3 points. It took four
awkward shots from behind trees and out of the rough till I finally hit a lovely
two hybrid to the green, which just would not stop, ending up four meters over
the back of the green. Take out my chipper and putting the shot in the hole.
Easy peasy par! See the photo of the 6th for more.

Their were four of us today. Two Nigel's, Bob and Chris. The two Nigel's were
paired against Bob and Chris. We were on top on the back of my front nine score.
We turned one up. Then jumped out to a four hole lead winning three in a row.
Then Bob and Chris started playing better through the period where I don't get
shots on holes and everybody else does. We got to the 18th all square. Came down
to me having to make my putt for four to win the beer. Straight in the hole.
Good finish to the day. Thanks for coming guys.
As I said to the group in the club house "no good deed goes unpunished",
especially in golf. I expect to lose another two shots off my handicap for this
round. The only thing I can put my purple patch down to, is the warmer weather.
My whole body just seems to soak up the sun and warmth and give it all back to
me in better golf. I'm not complaining at all.
Another magical day.
